creek brook wetlands destruction

This particular gallery of images chronicles the Lower Marsh as it existeted, the work which was done by the City of Haverhill and how it looks today as a field, rather than a wetlands.

The final image is a shot of the willow trees at the upper marsh, showing the water level drop which has occured in a 24 hour period since the city has now "cleaned the culvert" there as well.

In my opinion, this is all due to the fact that they have now tied all of the drainage from the denuded hillside which is the site of the new Lowes and Target stores.
