Leaving on Saturday, July 30, we started our trip for the San Juan Islands in Puget Sound, Washington. We were gone for 10 days on an awesome trip through some of the most beautiful countryside. Here are some of the pictures taken with the Nikon D70.

Wow! What a wonderful trip. Looks like you guys really packed allot into a week. I love these shots you can almost smell the lavander.....lol and the shot of the butterfly is especially beautiful. I agree with every one else here that they truly would make for a cool book. You really should consider that. Thank you so much for sharing.

Absolutely fantastic pictures....rays of sun, the lighthouse, the seal caves, Mt. Ranier....all stunning.....I flew over Puget Sound on the way to a Gregory Hines show in Victoria back in the 90's and we could see huge corrals of logs that had been floated down river to the mills, and a Trident missile sub on the surface going to the Navy base....of course, I didn't have a camera! I also took the ferry to Victoria in 1975 while on tour with CSI Audio (Ken can tell you about them)...the views are etched in my memory...the tree covered islands, the incredible crisp, clean air.....thanks for sharing this glimpse of our beautiful planet!

Great shots. Great eye. Love the Devils Elbow water shots, Hoh Rainforest, ropes on the ferry and hanging on. Also the flower closeups are wonderful. I also love the pictures of the 2 of you. You look very happy.

You have really captured the beauty of the San Juan Islands and the Washington Area. Have friends visiting from that area here in Los Angeles and we exchange visits quite frequently........Absolutely love your vacation thanks for sharing the beautiful country through your eyes and camera.
