An absolutely great shot !
I like the juxtaposition : profile/serious versus en face/happy !

I love this one, Chris. Despite the excellent shot the lady has an attractive profile, which also adds to the charm of this shot.

Active vs passive juxtaposition makes this image fascinating, Chris. We observe the real woman while confronting the lady on the poster. Meanwhile, the real woman notices neither your camera (or us ) or the woman in the background. She is lost in her own world.

hahah....when i saw the thumbnail of this picture, i was thinking the exact thing...very 'guenter'-like shot. :)

Exactly the kind of pic I like. The contrast between dreamworld and reality. Though there isn´t any contrast in this case. Perfect timing.
Kees Terberg08-Aug-2006 18:05
Hehehe, yeah, I recognize Guenter's style. Well dedicated and beautifully seen/ captured.

I have a faible for this kind of shots and you honored me with your dedication Chris! Thank you very much! And as I learned form AL - a tight framing creates always a stronger expression. I love the "serious" and thoughtful expression of the lady alive and the smile of the lady on the poster. Again thanks to my greek friend Chris!

Excellent tribute to Guenter. A very well timed and seen juxtaposition. Two contrasting expression brilliantly captured in such a tight framing. Love it and voted.
