Just spreading her recently clipped wings to soak up an
unexpected bit of sunshine on an early April afternoon.

She lives at the little zoo because her vision is too poor
for her to survive in the wild. Just out of frame is her
mate, a vulture whose wing was too damaged to enable him fly.
They stay close together in a large enclosure, along with a
pair of peacocks and several white tailed deer.
