Library Renovation

The large stone squares used here on the remodeled
library are special. It is Mankato Kasota stone.
Mankato Kasota is a dolomitic limestone quarried and
shaped in southern Minnesota. Over time, this stone
turns from its original grey to a warm buff color.
You can already see that the change is under way.
