Originally this was a gallery of nothing but chicken bones. As I was attempting to organize my various galleries, I realized that I had accumulated a lot of other kinds of bones, too. It just made sense to try to group them all together.
But as for the smallest ones, these are the bones of a well roasted chicken.
Since I knew I would be photographing her bones, I made a point of getting one that did not come from a factory. This chicken ran around in the grass, picked at bugs and stones and lived outside.
She was respectfully seasoned and roasted and served for dinner three times. The second two meals were soup so I could thoroughly clean the bones. Unfortunately, I soaked them too long in an enzyme laundry product. The bones started to dissolve, so now they are quite powdery. I have lots of little specks to clone out of every shot. I may try again with a turkey.
Update: Some pork ribs found their way into the gallery. Very pushy!
