This is one of those shots you decide to post anyways. I like the flooded water reflection of the dunes to the right and the old dead tree to the left. I don't like the shape of the pond compared to this different angle:

Steven: This is a Big "Wow"! I have visited Bisti(wrong time of day)and I'm planning to visit White Sands in the near future. Any helpful tips about visting, time of year and if I need a guide,etc. would be appreciated. This is probably the best landscape I've seen since I joined two months ago. Bill Mahan
