This small, young Night Heron lives down along the Long Beach shore front not far from the old Olympic Natatorium. Dozens of new residents just learning to fly have been there the last few weeks and while walking my dog, I decided to grab a few shots of one particular bird framed behind the colorful tree it was perched in.
