Helix Nebula - NGC 7293

Anza, CA

The Helix Nebula, imaged through a Meade 10" SCT with a modified Digital Rebel and 0.73x focal reducer/flattener. Mounted on a Losmandy G-11 and guided using a Borg 77mm Achromat and a modified Logitech QC4000 webcam and 2x barlow, controlled by GuideDog software. Focusing was done manually using a Borg helical focuser with the SCT mirror locked down. This is 9 x 8 minutes at ISO 800, stacked and processed in ImagesPlus V2.75 Beta3a. I normally use ISO400 and this was an experiment, in the long run I prefer the ISO400, less noise.
