GEORGE AND MARTHA WASHINGTON

The myth states that the lower level of the George Washington Bridge is call "Martha" Washington.
I think it is just a myth.

I am trying to decide which bridge shot I prefer,
the one posted above in black and white
which looks to me like a shot from the 1960s,
or the below shot which I posted the other day
which looks to me almost like the american flag with its red white and blue colors and the stars.

Great nightlights in colour, but the B&W is outstanding....excellent the perspectives!!!

Marvelous! My preference is for the B&W--that's a classic!! GMV

Both are fantastic, but the monochrome one is just timeless. I like the detail better .. excellent

Wonderful! Love the BW version!

Yes, the b/w is a classic "time stood still" image which I love, but I love the other one just as much...great work!

Nice shot I really like the golden tone to this one!

They are both exceptional photos. The black and white overpowers the other though. It touched me somehow. Maybe the retro look, I'm not sure. Great work. V

I like both really. the little sparkly lights on the "flag" version are awesome, but I also love the foggy bits on the black and white.

So good job, dude!

They are both remarkable, I also go b&w.

I like the black and white. The other is beautiful as well, but the first one is rather special.

Well, for openers, I'm intrigued they were taken only 21 minutes apart! That said, I agree with your capsule takes on each one. I prefer them both. I'm not usually this wishy-washy, but each photo does a great job of creating a different mood and genre.
The black and white is film noir, the color one is patriotism.
Excellent job on the b/w one. Did you convert from raw? I assume you did. What a good girl you've been. And moreover at least it isn't another cat being strangled. LOL
Thanks for making me think.
