POLAROID

My God I'm in love.
JHR (aka: Jeannius) got me interested in polaroid shooting.
I began doing a lot of research on the various cameras.
Then, a couple of months ago I completely lucked out on an ebay auction.
I got a polaroid 600SE with 3 Mamiya lenses in practically brand new condition.
For those who don't know about polaroids, this is like the cadillac of polaroids --
it was marketed as a professional camera
Tonight I finally put it to the test.
I used ISO 3000 film so I could shoot indoors without a flash.
I shot the whole box of 10 polaroids.
I was positively blown away by the whole lot of them.
There wasn't a bad shot in the bunch.
The black and white is gorgeous (my scanner hasn't done justice to it here)

JHR, I owe you a debt of gratitude for putting this bug in my head.

this is very cool . . . makes me want to pull out my old Polaroid and start playing again
Quite frankly, I had no idea Polaroid made cameras with changeable lenses, not tomention MAMIYA lenses!!

Excellent work (as usual) I love (but don't understand) your excitement about using a Polaroid. However, enjoy!

Very cool. I should dig out my old polaroid. Not the pro, but a high-end consumer. Didn't know they still made polaroid product.
