Good Will Ambassador

My boy Ben is really starting to show signs of his age.
He is such a gentle and loving soul. For reasons that are
not clear to me or anyone else, he is a most beloved dog among total strangers.
I can't tell you how often it happens that people run
up to greet him by name. People I don't recognize at all
(despite the fact that the only times Ben is out of the house, he is
with me) will pet him and hug him and kiss him and tell me that they
adore him. For his part, Ben sits patiently in front of them
wagging his tail all the while and looking imploringly into their
eyes. His face could melt rock.

How wonderful Liza. His face is a grabber. And your b&w work here is excellent. Great detail and fine bokeh.

Fine old gentleman. You really can see it in his eyes.

Ben sounds very similar to my Ebony, (13) she loves everyone too. She is getting very wobbly on her back legs now although appears happy. (I compare her to an old lady who needs a walking stick.) Wonderful shot of a fine white whiskered gentleman.

Nice old dog. Had to put my yellow lab of 13 down a few weeks ago. They become such a part of the family.
