Yeah we hunt in Blinds on the Refuge for the Geese and Ducks..

Hi Darlene...not sure if that meassage was for me or not, but I think I know the answer to your question. Middle Creek is owned and run by the PA Game Commission and during hunting seasons, they allow limited hunting by permit. To protect birders, hikers, and other non-hunters, they restrict access to the hunting areas. It's a safety issue, not some arbitrary bureaucratic restriction.

Iwould like to know why these road are closed to walkers in dec,jan, feb,When these roads are closed and have gates across why can,t the public walk on them what would that hurt anthing what a waste of land if people can enjoy it only set times. sorry wrong message
