Doing Lunch
Thought it was pretty rare to find two bees on such a tiny flower, till I found they were opposite sexes, and the male had other plans.
Backwoods Beauty
This pretty little flower is slightly smaller than an average thumbnail, (human, not photographic).
And the tree twig, though not very large itself, is keeping an eye on her.
Pretty in Pink
Day Lillies seem to come in an abundance of colours and combinations, but this is one I had not yet seen. I thought it was particularly striking.

A Garden in the Rough
My neighbours have transformed a heavily wooded limestone hill, into a picturesque "Garden in the Rough". It's an ongoing labour of love, and quite beautiful.

Wildflower
I came across this interesting, little beauty, while walking my dog. Had never seen anything like it, and so far, no one else has, either.

A Touch of Pink

And.....Along Came a Spider
The drooping petals of this Sunflower seemed to resemble a spider. There's even a web strand, coming in from the right border, if you look closely.

Tulip on the Rocks
This black based tulip is one of the few flowers I have. It keeps coming up every year, and this year I managed to capture it, before the deer had it for a midnight snack.

A Walk in the Woods
One of the pleasures of living in a heavily wooded area, is the variety of flora available. Some wild, others cultured, but all beautiful.
