It is helpful to use the permanent marker to put notes on the panels as you acquire knowledge about how to install them. On this driver side floor panel, I found it was easiest to install it by dropping in the edge closest to the door first. I also have marked the approximate position of the plate in the frame tubes under the panel. Knowing where this plate is will come in handy when installing the seat mounting points.

Get the Cleco pliers with the rubber grip covers. The grip covers make the tool a lot more comfortable to use. I glued the grips to the tool because they slide off during use.
