At the prompting of my automobile mechanic son, I decided to throw out the fuel injection and go carb. The carb simplifies the installation significantly and gives the engine more of a period correct look. The comb-over fuel injection system required wiring, locating and installing sensors and engine management computer. The system was a speed density system, so it wasn't the most sophisticated EFI anyway. The carb cleaned everything up and saved a lot of work.
