just stumped on to your website while looking for some pics of soldiers in combat zone work w/ youth and we were doing the Christmas theme"Peace on Earth" for a contest and we use the pics for our "world Peacemakers" and we made a hall of the pics from your site to honor all of you and the great job you are doing to keep world peace, some of the youth had friends and family in the service so the theme really touch home to them! We made our stockings to hang camouflage print boots did our tree in peace doves and out door wreath w/ camouflages. It was a beautiful room and a great honor to all of you who service our country and thanks for the pics and your website, stay safe!!!!!

I found your site by accident, when I was looking for pictures of three brothers that gone off to war together. I am in a band in Ohio/Pennsylvania that is currently in the studio working on our first "CD". Bryan one of the members wrote a song about three brothers that go off to war together and unfortunatly all three die on the same day in seperate attacks. The song is called "Our Boys" and it is very touching. We as a band support our US Armed Forces in what ever you are called to do. I want to personally thank all of you for puting your lives on the line to give us freedom and those that have died for this counrty will always be heroes. Wheather you believe in what our President is doing or not, you have to support our troups. We hope that we do you all proud.

The pictures of Iraq are fantastic...I was there during the same time the pictures were taken. My unit, 431st Civil Affairs BN, was attached to the 101st. I recognize several people in the photos...it most certainly brought back many memories. Thank you for sharing them.

'Wow!' sums your site up pretty well. I blew off close to two hrs. here at work glued to your site. Been around Ouray during GOX 2003 & it was a religious experience for this Penna./TX. boy. Hello. I found your site while doing a google search on 2/44 ADA 101st Airborne. My nephew, Spec. Thomas A. Foley III was with Bravo company 2/44 ADA when they were deployed to Iraq in 2003. He was killed April 14, 2003 south of Baghdad at Checkpoint 1. I have been trying to contact people he may have served with to see if anyone might have any pictures with him in them. If so I would love to have a copy and I am especially looking for a picture of a carving in a wall anywhere in Iraq from Checkpoint 1 back to Kuwait that says "Fuzzy Was Here". Tommy's nickname was Fuzzy and he was caught carving this saying into a few walls in places where his unit had stayed over.
If you can help me on this or might know anyone who can, I would sure appreciate it greatly. You can contact me at fuzzywashere@hotmail.com.

Please tell your sister that I love those photos and I love the job she and all "my" soldiers are doing. I am a troop supporter via www.anysoldier.com and campdoha.org and have gotten to know a lot of the troops via email, snail mail, etc.

What a privilege for me to be able in some small way to support these fine folks. Please tell Debbie to contact those organizations if she or any of her comrades needs a little mail.

My name is Patrick Pulver. I am from the band Barracuda. My brother, Specialist Michael Vivirito, will be joining you soon. He has been assigned to the 101st, just received his wings at Fort Dix. Anyway, I have written a song, originally for my brother, now it looks like it will be turning into a sort of ANTHEM FOR THE TROOPS. There will be many guest appearances on the song, Chip Z'nuff from Enuff Znuff, Tracy Gunns from L.A. Guns / Brides of Destruction / possibly Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons from Kiss, as well as a bunch of other guys in the music biz. the song is a very positive song, basically my tribute to all the brave men and women in the service. The song is called "BROTHERS".

You have a photo on your website that I would love to have as the cd cover. It is the photo of the 101st (looks like about 500 of you all) one guy in the front is waving the 100% re-enlistment flag. Please get back with me as soon as you can.

I would very much like if I could be put in touch with Debbie in reference to using some of her pics in a book of military and war photos which covers the Civil War to present. A portion of the proceeds to go the families of fallen and wounded soldiers of the wars in the Middle East. God bless you all who are laying it on the line for the cause of freedom and in the tradition of courage and honor of those that came before you. They say war is hell. I heard a quote from an unknown grunt that disputes that notion. He said, "War is War, and hell is hell. The difference is only bad people go to hell. War does not descriminate.

Nice glimpse into a soldiers life. War and conflict is never pleasant but soldiers are able to see peace, harmony and beauty druing the struggle. A true soldier will bring home great memories from where ever they have been. Our horrors and night mares we save for ourselves and commrads. I was a member of the one-o-worst. I say that with true love, admiration and respect. We got the nickname from our opposition (which there really isn't any); as we were their worst night mare. Air Assault from Night Fright.
