The merchants and artisans of Bay Saint Louis held their first official "post Katrina" Second Saturday street party on Saturday, Oct. 8th. The irrepressible human spirit was clearly evident. Ordinarily this sort of event wouldn't really be remarkable or much of a photo op. However, when you consider the trauma these people have endured, it's quite inspiring to see the smiling faces and good cheer.
