Followed the sun inland to Perigord area and the mediaeval hill town of Limeuil, situated on the confluence of the Dordogne and Vezere rivers, it was an influential port in days gone by. Trade was centred on barges transporting goods by river from the Massif Central. It is a lovely wee place...as are the 29 degC temperatures!
