reacts to winning the University Boat Race....
you can just feel how much it means to her!!
27_Feb_2010 Setting to sea
I have a lot of admiration those who take to the seas,
on days when I would choose to be at home in front of a roaring fire....
which indeed I was, shortly after taking this shot!!

23_Feb_2010 Loch Davan
Another one from the weekend...tsk tsk must get out more!
20_Feb_2010 Loch Davan
Fabulously crisp and bright day for a long walk through the snow,
to get to this little hidden gem of a place.
Most of Loch Davan is frozen over, except for this little
sheltered corner looking towards Morven in the distance.
Playing around with wireless off camera flash
and a Lambency flash diffuser, which creates an incredibly soft light.
The on-camera flash provides a trigger for the wireless flash
and gives some nice catchlights in the eyes
without affecting the overall exposure
05_Feb_2010 Stewart Memorial Fountain
In Kelvingrove Park, was erected 137 years ago to commemorate the establishing of Glasgow's water supply from Loch Katrine.....in lead pipes.
I suppose it was considered an impressive engineering feat at the time, but the heavy metal depositied in their drinking water troubled many a Glaswegian for a long time afterwards!!
