Wanda 10_19_07.jpg

Today Wanda and I slipped up the Canyon for a little rest and relaxation. Of course that means shooting a few pictures. We didn't see any animals or much interesting. We went for a short hike through the now naked aspens.

I saw these little weeds at the top of a little hill all lit up by the rapidly disappearing sun. I leaned a reflector up against a tree trunk and hoped for the best. I really liked how the weeds matched Wanda's hair. I'm always telling people to find amazing light and put your subject in it. This was one of those times.

The reflector is to my left and maybe 8 or 10 feet from Wanda. It is a 4 foot round five in one with the white satin side reflecting.

How far away is that reflector, Bill?
The shot, and Wanda, look lovely.

Wonderful shot Bill. I also really like the way the 'weeds' are illuminated by the sun, again framing Ms Wanda. Do you think a fill flash might of helped in this shot or would that have been to much??? Jv

Wanda, you look incredible as always. Bill, you're not going to earn many brownie points comparing her hair to weeds! lol
