Here is an otter we photographed in Yellowstone yesterday. Post processed on the laptop so it might not be its best.

Very good shot considering the subject and setting plus the fact you used a 2X with the 300mm lens.

Perhaps the guest that posted the comment about the photo being not sharp doesn't understand depth of field. I think it is a great shot. These guys can be difficult to photograph.

Not a real tight crop. I just download the card to the laptop and did next to no post processing because it is difficult to judge the image on the laptop screen. I'll take another look at the images when I get home and can look at them on my desktop

Is this a tight crop? It doesn't look very sharp considering the lens that was used.
