Wanda 04_20_06.jpg

Wanda went for a leisurely paced ride this evening up, or maybe more accurately stated down, Diamond Fork Canyon. She has been pushing hard this week pedaling hard 10 to 12 miles a day. Her soar muscles need a rest to repair; so, a slower paced ride was just what she needed.

She really appreciates all the support and the donations for the ADA Tour de Cure.

Again if you feel like donating click here http://tour.diabetes.org/site/TR?pg=personal&fr_id=3310&px=2819862

Here is another shot from today

Craig,

Not to worry, I knew what you meant when you said you were in Dubai. . . you can't be in two places at one time. (grin) And I can read fluent typo, since I am the "typo Queen" Myself!

Be safe, and thanks for visiting Bill's site. It's nice to know we can bring a bit of joy into the lives of others. (warm smile)

Dear Wanda:

I'm not surprised that Bill loves watching you ride. I'm sure he loves watching you do anything, even something as mundane as reading a book. I'm just happy that Bill is willing to share his love for you, and photography, with the rest of us.

I'll do My best to ride defensively, always wear My helmet and I try to avoid roads with narrow shoulders. But if I die riding, well, I will have died happy!

I love riding too but do, please, do keep youself save! Ride Defensively.
My wife and I do a bunch of riding here in Austin and in the last three days the city has had two bicyclists hit by trucks. Both women, young mothers, one died and the other would have but her helmet saved her. I got hit a couple years ago and was lucky enough to walk away from it.
Stay save and enjoy the ride. :-)

Great pic as always Bill

Dave,

I was a little winded in this image, but a longgggggggg ways from worn out! . . . when I am worn out, I wont be standing. (grin)

I had intended to really get a REST yesterday, but Bill apparantly loves to watch Me ride, so I caved and gave him his way. I have another ride scheduled today and tomorrow, but when Sunday rolls around, I will give it a rest. I have to admit though, I had forgotten how much fun riding a bike is. It's been over ten years since I have done any riding! I almost fell off the bike last week when I went for My first spin. I am a little more coordinated now. (happy smile)

Looks like Spring has finally arrived in Utah. Like the light effect on her glasses.
