The top is farther than the photo shows. Those are full grown pines at the top of the peak.
A celebrations was due just for reaching the top of the ridge

In this area there will be snow in places well into July; but most of it will be gone by June

Kej, skiing in a bikini is pretty old here in Utah. Girls have been doing it when spring skiing here in Utah for as long as I can remember. It really does get that warm with the sun reflecting off the snow. If you're not careful you can get a wicked sunburn.
