It has been 12 years or more since Wanda has been fishing. Today my hunting and fishing buddy Dave took Wanda and I fishing at Strawberry for trout. Wanda had a great day, even if it was windy and cold. Yeah, Spring time in the Rockies can be pretty darn cold. Today temps started at about 35 degrees and warmed up to about 50. Toss in a good steady 10 or 15 mph wind and a little rain and you have a day most wouldn't be out on the lake. Wanda caught a bunch of really nice trout,rainbows and cutthroat in 1 1/2-3 lbs range. Fishing with ultra light gear to make it fun. She out fished both Dave and I.
