Wow! Quite the moment.

I got the part about the feet the instant I saw the shot...and thought they were a charmingly genuine
element.

I did not notice the dirty feet until I read the comments. All I saw was a beautiful natural girl. Great shot!

All right about the dirty feet. You know with almost all my photos the elements in the photo are there for a reason. The dirty feet were left very much on purpose.

When the model put them up she wanted to brush them off. Wanda and I had a few quick words and decided to leave them dirty. It was a very conscious decision.

Here is the reason and what we’re trying to say with the image. Okay it is overall a pretty picture except the dirt which is almost in your face. Nature is like that. Nature can beautiful but in that beauty is ugliness, dirt, dust and danger. It is how the world really is. We filter it out of our minds when we look at almost every beautiful scene. We make a sub conscious decision to ignore the ugly. Here we forced the viewer to make a decision to notice the beauty. You notice the model gazing at the beautiful world but she is also part of nature. You also get reminded about the other side of nature. The scene is pretty the model is pretty but there is that mud on her feet. Mud she, like we did when we were children, just ignored.

Isleman gets an “A” today. He got it.

Great idea, but the strong overall green cast from light reflecting of all that greenery is an issue to me. Looks almost like she's bruised. And I think we all agree about the feet. She's a great model that puts me very much in mind of Wanda. Love your work Bill. I can't wait to see more.

Great picture but I would photoshop the dirty feet or wash them next time. They are distracting.

Great job Bill.

The dirty feet draw my attention away from the rest of the photo.

Gorgeous image, Bill. It appears Mother Nature Wanda has a worthy understudy! Would greatly enjoy seeing Avangeline's portfolio myself.

Absolutely lovely. Does Avangeline have a portfolio somewhere that we can visit?

Great work, as always, Bill.
