Thanks for sharing the lighting "secret", Bill.

One of the things I have always admired about your photos is the incredible use of light. I can only aspire to your level of talent. But I guess that's what keeps photography interesting, isn't it?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Wanda.

There's a tree under all those decorations?? A bit bigger than our effort this year.

Wanda and I were just saying we were surprised no one had asked how this image was lit. This was taken with straight up available lights from in the room. There is a can light in the ceiling above Wanda and the tree. The back wall has some small spot track lighting by the "fitness" pole which you can see poking out of the top of the tree. The photo is pretty much straight out of the camera. I did clone out the track lights which would have been in the upper left corner.

Wow, that's how Christmas trees should look.

As always, an excellent shot. Bill, could you tell us how you lit this shot?

Thanks for the full tree image. I do like the images of Wanda (in whatever state of dress), but I did want to see what the tree looked like. If you have snow now, how about more of the house and surrounding area?

OK, now that Wanda is dressed again, I can at least notice how beautifully the tree is decorated :-) (although I much prefer the previous picture, whether I noticed the tree or not! lol)
