This weekend Wanda and I were in Indianapolis, Indiana to visit friends. While we were there we took in the GENCON gamer convention. I would say it is a very interesting place to people watch.

These people take their fantasies pretty seriously. There were fairies, trolls and as you can see a few Star War freaks. There were lots of people in to fantasy games...really IN to them.

This is a photo of something I found interesting. This convention is mostly attended by men in their 20s and 30s. Here were two very lovely young women dressed to get more than a little normal attention. They were there to pitch Benchwarmers trading cards and to sign autographs. Ok, I saw them and sure did notice them but not many other attendees paid them the slightest attention. I watched for about 20 minutes as groups of guys walked by talking about all sorts of topics like what would happen if Galactica ran into the empire. They walked by these lovelies and didn't even look. What a strange place



Yeah it was fun.
