The sites Mines Rescue Team invited me along to review a training exersize and must say they still have alittle way to go.
The exersize was to extract a person from a crashed vehicle, actually had a range of vehicles to destroy. Turned up at the appointed time, No MRT, just the safety manager, 1/2hr later MRT turn up, they were stopped at the gate as they were trying to remove mine equipment with out approval- as if your ERT Vehicles would need approval. Many turned up with out thier basic PPE or in some case slippers. Then they attacked the vehicle with vigar, no idea what they were doing but glad to be doing it. Let them chop up the first vehicle to get it out of thier system and the second one in an orderly fashion. Nice Kids but more work required here.
