This group of Photos was taken from the mountains behind the Mine Site, my guide tells me that the area we were standing was at one stage an ancient Roman Village. There was evidence of roofing tiles in the ground as well as some excavations which showed the different levels of ground over the years including different burn layers, which he stated that at different times when the area was invaded the village was burnt down and rebuilt.
