Hello - I owned this car from February 1991- August 1998. It was purchased in Mass. from a Porsche Dealer and spent a great deal of time being repaired and tracked in California. I sold it at the Brooks auction in August 1998 to C. Connor. To the best of my knowledge he still owns it. At one point Dick Barbour had the car and a trade with a 906 took place sometime before I owned it. I have some video of the car on the track in 1997-98.

No, it was not this car that Dick Reventlow owned, that was a 1974 3-litre RSR.

If this is the car I think it is, it was sold new to Dick Reventlow, who lived in Aspen at the time. Dick was the younger brother of Lance Reventlow and had owned several interesting cars: GT40, 904, etc. He street-licensed it with the Nevada tag "RSR" (which I happen to have) and drove it on the street but never raced it beyond a few fun laps at Woody Creek Raceway, near Aspen. The car was maintained by Grady Clay in Denver, I recall. Dick sold it to Bob Ibbotson ( Denver), who raced the car mildly in SCCA, but for many years it was kept basically unmodified, just maintained, so it was one of the most original RSRs in existence. Bob sold it sometime in the 1990s, I believe.
