Hello Didier and thank you for your post. Congratulations on your new acquisition, I’m sure you will be getting a lot of enjoyment out of the RS. I believe I sent you a reply back in February, but I don’t know for sure.

You offered to provide updated photos, maybe you can even send a few from some of the events you will be attending, that will be fantastic.

Hello, i am the new owner of this car. It was indeed raced by JC Bering, with which he won the European Hillclimb championship in 1974 and 1975. The car has now been completely renovated by Marc de Siebenthal and will be raced regularly in Classic Endurance Racing. We will also run it at Tour Auto. Looking forward to it. Hello, the fact is Karajan sponsored Jean-Claude Bering and let him race his car.
The has been entierly restored by meca components, surely the very best Swiss Specialist (Marc De Sibenthal).
It is now available for sale.

These pictures are showing the car before Marc De Sibenthal restoration.
The price is now 350,000 euros and it is registered in Italy.

as shown in that pic of book (STARKEY - R to RSR). this car was sold by H. von K. to Jean-Claude Bering - (Swiss) . it is doubtful that Herbert von Karajan owned it for long. most likely a VERY short time.
