We got about 6 or so inches of heavy wet snow today.
This junco was one of many sheltering in the spruce tree.

Such a nice shot of this little bird. I follow an eagles nest in Minnesota and the mother eagle was totally covered with snow during the night and today she is laying on the nest in 6 inches of snow with babies under her. It has been a brutal winter.
