At an elevation of about 9500' just outside of Aspen, CO, lies the remnants of the silver mining town, Ashcroft, which was founded in 1880, and boasted a population of 2000 at its peak. It was a very pretty area, and a nice change of pace from our Hot Tucson summer. I was with family and so they are in several shots.
