Hi, great pics. Can I ask you where this splash pad is in your pics? Is it in Fon du lac, WI? What's the park name? I am looking for someplace like this to play but don't know the area. Thanks in advance
Hi, I found this flickr and they're using your photos (Ella's photos).
Awesome photos. I got my DSLR yesterday "early christmas present" I might have to call you up for some help.
Your photographs are amazing! You show the rest of the world what they're missing.
Dave, Wow, the pilotseat gallery was like a diary of my long career at PSA. Absolutely beautiful photos, inspiring great memories. The Dornier Days were fun. Just proves one must never take the view for granted. Thanks for posting the photos for posterity and clear skies in your new seat.
From a former PSA pilot - thanks for sharing these! Absolutely amazing.
Wow!!! Great Photos I could sit and view for hours Thanks
Thank you very much for your great photography. =)
Fantastic work! I came across your gallery from a pilot wives forum where your wife posted a link to your gallery. My Fiance is an FO for the CRJ900 w/ Mesaba. He takes his camera w/ him on every trip. We're getting marred in October at McWay Falls in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. You captured its beauty magnificently.
I found your site when an image was shown on the pbase main page. Glad I did and i have enjoyed the short visit. Will continue to visit from time to time as I have you in my favorites.
Dropped in to see your recent work. Love the wild horse gallery. Hope things are going well for you and your career.
Hope you update soon as I'll be anxiously awaiting.
hey thanks for the comments. on the b/w photo of the house at night, there was no PS other than the b/w coversion believe it or not.
Great work, your photo galleries are fantastic.
I've just dropped on your galleries, one word, unbelievable.
We've missed you on POTN, although I haven't spent much time there myself in recent months. I have enjoyed re-visiting your wonderful gallery, especially since we visit so many of the same places. wish we could meet up some day on one of these trips. I notice you don't have shots of "The Wave" in North coyote Buttes (or I missed it). This is a place you simply must visit...unworldly to say the least. I'll be out there again this winter.
Guess I will make it easy on ya and actually give the link... :)
Still shooting the Digital Rebel
Still flying the Jungle Jet
Hope all is well for you.
Haven't seen you around POTN lately. I see you got a new camera, sad about the old one.
I am doing a photo a week blog project, check it out. I give your cityscape workflow advice on the oct 12 entry. Proably mispelled your name though.
Have you ever published anything? You need to write an article and inlcude some of these images... I bet USAirways Magazine would publish it!
I enjoyed your pictures of Charlotte... and I think you have my dream job, except for the fact I get air sick.
As a teenager flying back and forth across the big pond (Atlantic Ocean) as a Military Brat, I thought it would be cool to be a pilot, flying to different destinations, and to see Cities from the sky, which most people can only see in magazines... and then taking time off to photograph the area from the ground, knowing you will return to see and take more. I envy you!
Let me know the next time you fly through Charlotte and you have a buddy seat open... LOL!
Thanks for sharing,
A pilot coupled with a photograph give necessarly nice pictures.
Hope I'll be able to access the A320 in 2 years ;-)
Congratulations on an amazing million - and it's only due to your terrific work. Well done David
Fantastic gallery, thanks for sharing and keep up the excellent work.
Just have just been browsing your galleries and wanted to say how much I enjoyed your photography. Looks like you have a wonderful life.......keep up the good work.
Your photos and galleries are incredible. You have many wonderful photos, composed extremely well, and you can tell that you put some thoughts into your photos instead of just snapping the shutter as fast as you can. One thing also I can tell you enjoy what you do when you have that camera in hand. PASSION! Don't loose it! ~jamie
HOLY CRAP!!!! You are really good! Best of luck.
Dave-these are amazing, especially the from the cockpit shots. Had fun flying with you!
David, thanks for your recent comment. I enjoyed looking through your gallery, with so many fine shots. From your gallery of Charlotte shots, I see that you have settled in quite nicely.
Great photos! Some of those 328's will soon end up almost a world away in Darwin, Australia! Look forward to flying them, and I'll send some photos when they've changed their "spots." :)
Great photos! I work as a sim instructor with FlightSafety, not quite the same view you have from the cockpit.

Great airial images. I too travel a lot via airfair, but as a passenger, so my views are from the passenger windows.
Thanks for sharing.
Dave, Thanks for visiting and the encouraging comments. That coyote was within 100 ft from the road. There were string of cars drove by and every one stoped and took pictures of it from the car window. The cars didn't seem bother it at all. -Simon
too kool is life we feel
I enjoyed your flight shots. I fly a fair amount for work and can appreciate the views, and integrating photography with work travel. All the best,
I think you a great artist !

Yup, I do remember taking a Dornier out of Dayton Ohio once and you were one of the pilots.. i'm not just saying this, I remember this! Funny stuff. Good photos, as always.

Hi Dave. Saw your recent posts on Canon Digital Forum and your invitation to visit. In response to your comment about being tired of your posts yet....heck no. Who could tire of such nice work. Thanks for sharing. Keep posting to the Canon site too.
Hey Dave- this is more than a hobby! Great stuff. I'll show you what we look to buy for the magazine-There's a good possiblity you might have something that would work for us.- Robin, www.estateswest.com (Estates West Magazine)
Awesome pics man, love the CRJs. Just started fly with PSA this month.
What a great website. You have taken me down memory lane. I still wish we had the Dornier. I miss that plane. Keep up the great work and I will see you on the line.
700 at night, front profile, with lights on, and enough ambient light to illuminate the outline of the engines. Also, looking for widescreen wingtip to wingtip. You might be albe to manipulate a day shot too.
Wow a truly amazing gallery - wonderful colours composition and detail thanks for sharing gets my vote!
Very strong collection of galleries - with great diversity of subjects. The views of the southwest are fantastic, but the old farm fields and buildings remind me of my first B & W project on abandoned farms - nostalgia. Cheers!
Stunning work, some of your shots just take your breath away. Thoroughly enjoyed my wander through your galleries. :o))
nice homepage you've got!
keep up the good work
Loved your pictures of the Southwest, especially around the Sedona area. Beautiful place!
Thanks for the nice words on my galleries...Great stuff here, also. The 328 is such a cute propliner... I just recently converted from the ERJ145 to the F100. Soon some Fokker pics will come up!
How I wished cockpit glass had some more optical friendly characteristics. There is not one single flying day I dont go Wow! Look at that...what a great picture!...Unfortunately, I know beforehand most shots would be ruined by the poor optics of the glass panes, so no need to bother, really...Also sterile cockpit is a bi**h...It could be replaced by a PBFBT acronym (Photographers, Be Frustrated Below 10000ft), lol...Well, still have those DHC flights, I guess...
Your Wisconsin, Ohio and Southwest galleries are great... they just spice up my long lasting wish to make a coast-to-coast-to-coast trip in the U.S. Lets see if we can do it in the next few years, while we still have the gist for it...I can see the camera turning red-hot on that one...
Best wishes, safe landings and great photos!
(If you ever hit LPPT and ENTER on your personal FMS, be sure to drop a line...)
Hi David !!!
I looked at your work. Its really amazing. You truly have a talent to capture the moments. I am a great admirer of natural beauty and landscape.

Hi Dave. I spent some time on your site. You have some absolute amazing stuff here. Great work. I enjoyed your images a great deal. Give me a holler if you are overnighting YUL.

Thank you for your comment on the cows.
I love your galleries and my husband was really interested in the photos of your work, because he's been trained to be a pilot too, but never actually flew for companies (no pilots needed at that particular time) and switched to architectural drawing.
He's 63 now and keeps himself busy with Flightsimulator on his pc.
Dave, I've enjoyed your posting on the Canon forum, and finally reviewed your pbase gallery. You have a great collection of wonderful shots. I go to many of the same places (retired, not paid to go...ha), but somehow you seem to find better images. I'll try to learn to better visualize shots, as you seem to do. Thanks, Stan Parker (sparker1)
You have some truly wonderful pictures, I love looking at them!
David: Welcome to Charlotte. I don't have to ask what brought you here, after viewing your profile photo. With the ocean to the east, the mountains to the west and north, and many areas of interest in between, you will find this a great area for photography. Cliff
I followed your link from my forum posting on the wave. Great work, esp Zion NP, which oddly enough is on the short list for next summers trip. If you have any insights on a phototrip there I would love to hear them. Again, nice work
That shot was captured earlier this summer in Colorado...great place to shoot...only wish I had more time there!
I see you fly for US Air Express...what routes? Good luck with the US Air restructuring stuff!
Hey! I just happened to come across your site on here. I love you photographs! Great work..
hi david, it is anka/access_200. yeah its my internet handle, sorry i dont take pictures well lol, just thought pbase would be a great place to store some gifs, etc.
How's it going Dave? I met you at the Luna jam a few months back. I've been checking out your pic and there great. I finally signed up posted some pics. I used your "Canton almost looks pleasant" idea for a sunrise shot. I hope to see some new pics. I'm always stopping by to check.
Wow Dave. This is Jimmie, Kim Jenkins Friend. I met you before. I dont know if you remember me or not. I am her BUDDY. Anyway she told me you had a cool web site and I should check it out.
