Frozen eggs of some alien mythological animal. They will hatch and scaring little flying dinosaurs will invade Pbase, devouring all cliché pictures…Augghhhh!

Very nice effect. The sand is sharp but the rocks are soft. I don't know how you achieved thise but the result is pleasing.
