Just one of many. "Charming" is one of the first words that comes to mind when describing Carmel. It is an extremely well-kept and architectually attractive town, part Arts and Crafts, part Hansel and Gretel. Possibly a bit too cute and contrived if you're the cynical sort; surely no "real" city is like this! I just enjoyed it for what it was.
