Rolf's RF Remote, updated for use with Olympus cameras.

This remote was originally designed for use with the Minolta D7 camera.
Installing a new plug made from a Olympus USB cord made it comparable with my Olympus E-510. (and others) It's range is about 60'.
Because there is only one "relay" in the modified remote doorbell; the camera shutter is operated in a full press mode.
Sadly this little cheap remote doorbell has despaired from Wall Marts inventory. But there are surly other RF remotes that can be modified.
Here is a link, showing the Olympus USB port pin out that shows the location of pins #4 and #11 that is needed to focus / trigger the camera.
