Olympic gymnastics 1

These are some of the photos taken in Olympic qualifications, team and individual finals. I encountered big problems in Athens, suffering severe lack of sleep, hassles with the ferry, pain and fatigue during my one week stay there. My original plan fell apart completely when the podium volunteers stopped me changing seats and using very big telephoto lens. So my photos are so so and I wish they could be better.

well i go to a gym club but we do no were nere these things i only know how to a back brige,splits/both ways,hand stand,cart wheel,press ups,forward roll.But how do they do it?

I LOVE GYMNASTICS!! I wish I was as good as them! I am a Level 6 Gymnast and I hope I can be as good as those girls some day! I like all of the events but my favorite event is Floor becuse I like to do back and front tucks! It is fun to flip around! I am learing my backhandspring on beam I hope i get it so! I am a competeive Gymnast!

Hi! I´m from to Argentina, This gymnastics are amazing, my favourite is courtney kupets, she is my inspiration, i want to be like her, but it´s so hard´! And someday i want tobe like her. I have been doing gymnastics since i was 4 years old and i am 18 now, so my life basically is doing gymnastics, this means all for me, this is my life, my only life, i´m so happy when i´m doing it, but saddly in Argentina this sport is not famous like other, and i want to the team of here... hope to compete in the olimpics, i want to do this, it´s my dream! i have been doin gymnastics since i was 4 or 5 years old and i am 12 now i am on the highest grade we have wich is grade 1 it goes from level 7 to 6 to 5 to 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 wich i am on

Ive been In gymnastics for 8 almost 9 years and am in level 6. I think that the pictures are awesome and I hope that someday I can be an olympic gymnast too.

These are great pics!! there is just one thing...there is a picture someone who's hands are on the beam, but she is kicking her back leg up into the air. This is labelled as courtney kupets, but is actually Carly Patterson!

Excellent captures, perfect example of what the Mk II is capable of. All shots very sharp considering majority were shot wide open. Excellent WB too.

Great shots, and it confirms what I suspected - that here in the U.S. we only get to see what the advertisers THINK we want to see...i.e., mostly Americans. Personally I want to see all the athletes that worked hard to get to the Olympics, regardless of where they happen to live. Wonderful work.

Great stuff Sing Lo, I hope your Olympics was good despite the hardships with travel etc.. I would have loved to have gone.. I know how it is with volunteers and security people stopping you , I almost got kick out of an event doing the same thing… oh well, great photos anyway. Thanks for bring them to us..
