It really is a magnificent building Noel abd really does dominate the skyline.
It's always a bit confusing when i'm taking pics from the "other side" as the Cathedral seems to move depending on whether you take the pic from Wallasey Town Hall or Seacombe.
I've just measured the distance on Google Earth from the centre of the tower to that left hand hut by the Albert Dock and it is exactly .96 of a mile.!!!
Which shows the scale of the Cathedral imo.
