On Sunday 14 September 2008 the Freedom of the City of Liverpool was conferred
upon the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment at Liverpool Cathedral. After the service
and ceremony the regimrnt marched through Liverpool with colours flying, drums beating
and bayonets fixed.
