Suddenly, she decided to turn right down the side street (I guess - nothing else explains the speed she did it) .... after a flash or two of the indicator and.... right across my front.

Airbags didn't deploy, so must have washed off most of the speed, but I remember leaning on the horn and the ABS active for a loooong time, then she hit the front of the car and then proceeded to scrape down the whole left hand bloody side. I couldn't go right, oncoming traffic, and she wouldn't go back left.
