Also known as Polar Stratospheric Clouds, or Mother-of-Pearl clouds. These are rarely seen outside the polar region, but were seen from Scotland on 1st and 2nd February 2016 following a big storm that pushed humid air up into the stratosphere, where clouds don't usually form.
