Punta Tombo, Chubut

On September, penguins arrive at coasts of Punta Tombo, far 120 km from Trelew.
They swim thousands km from north, to be there.
They reach the beach and rest . Then they begin walking to find a place to make a nest before females arrive.

Fascinating to see. I have not seen such markings on penguins before, and I like the composition you have used.

Awe-inspiring and great shot! I love penguins and to learn of their journey and lifestyle. They make a wonderful pattern on the beach, just beckoning photographers to take their picture!
