Waterfall in Queen Creek Canyon August 7, 2007

After heavy rainfall on Monday, August 6th, lots of waterfalls were running down the cliffs in Queen Creen Canyon just east of Superior, Arizona. This one is the largest. It's located on Highway 60 a little east of the Queen Creek tunnel. Here's directions on how to get to the waterfall:
This stunning waterfall is right along highway 60 just east of the town of Superior -- about one hour's drive from the valley. how to find it? drive past Superior and up into the canyon... after the queen creek tunnel park at the second of the two large gravel lots on the righthand side of highway 60. you'll see a "50 MPH" sign at the top of the parking lot -- walk past that and another 100 yards up hill and on the outside of the guardrail... the waterfall is across the highway, and you can easily hike up to the best falls.
