Perkinsville Road

Perkinsville road begins at Williams, Arizona and ends at Jerome, Arizona. The first 24 miles are paved, the rest of the road is dirt. We traveled the road in a crossover SUV. The signs said Primitive Road, but it did appear to be graded. There is a small article about this Arizona road in the May 2009 Arizona Highways Magazine. Almost all of the following photos have been Geo tagged using a Garmin GPS and GPicSync Software. If you select, View Map, under the photo you can see on a map where the photo was taken.

Great photos. I've only been from Williams to the Verde River on this road but am inspired to go the distance now.

Thanks for the photos. My old 2003 MS streets and Trips routed us this way going from the south rim to Jerome, but it didn't show that there was actually a road....so we were a bit concerned. Needless to say, based on your photos, unless it's a washout, we're going to give Perkinsville Rd. a try when we visit this Sept.

Do you have off road directions as to what fireroads to turn onto to get from Williams, AZ to Jerome AZ? We will be departing from Coleman Lake Road & Perkinsville Road.
