February 12 flood at Boyce Thompson Arboretum. 2005

These are the photos that I lost my little Nikon Coolpix 2100 for. I tried to keep him dry, but with all the rain and wet wasn't very successful I guess. For my next camera, a Nikon Coolpix 4100 I was more careful and bought a waterproof case.

1:32 pm. Last photo of the Date Palm. 2:42 pm. Date Palm is gone. Catwalk fence and trail are badly damaged Damaged catwalk fence and trail February 14, 2005. Flood debris attatched to the catwalk

Last Spring was one of the most amazing in AZ for a many years. You got great pictures of the rains that made it possible.

Wow, what a series! The water was really high, isn't the creek a good 15 ft below the catwalk?
