These photos were taken with a Sony DSC-R1 pre-production camera. The photos were taken in Ortigia, Sicily on a night when a storm front was passing by. The camera was perched on the balcony of my holiday apartment. I experimented with various exposure lengths as I was trying to get some examples with lightning flashes and also some with the light trails from moving vehicles.
