Wild Plumeria

My wife and I have two beautiful paintings of tropical flowers
that hang in our bedroom. While on vacation at our timeshare in Kauai, HI
in late August she noted that she wanted a painting of a Plumeria. Unable
to find such a painting that we liked, I offered the next best alternative,
a photograph. I found a tree at our resort and setup to take the photo. It
wasn't easy, as the branch was about 12 feet off the ground. I shot it with
a 105mm prime lens and fill-in flash. The resulting colors and detail
exceeded my wildest expectations. Enjoy, as my wife surely did!!
