Driving home from Enchanted Rock in Fredericksburg after a day of shooting, I noticed the color in the sky and though it was beautiful. Two more miles down the road I saw this cross on top of a hill. I pulled over and began a climb up the hill. It was taken after a full sprint to reach the top of the hill in order to start shooting before the sun went down. Out of breath and sweating I was glad I stopped, I like the colors and composition.
